Ar-Raudah : Jurnal Pendidikan Dan Keagamaan is a scientific publication containing the results of research in the field of education and religion that have never been published. This scientific code of ethics statement is a statement of the ethical code of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, bestari/reviewer partners, and authors. This scientific publication code of ethics statement is based on Regulation of the Head of Lipi number 5 of 2014 concerning the code of ethics of scientific publications. The ethics of scientific publication essentially upholds three ethical values ​​in publication, namely:

  1. Neutrality, namely freedom from conflicts of interest in publication management.
  2. Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled to be authors/writers.
  3. Honesty, namely freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (df2p) in publications.

Editor-in-chief duties and responsibilities:

  1. Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if necessary.
  2. Defines editor membership.
  3. Defining the relationship between publishers, editors, bestari partners, and other parties.
  4. Respect confidential matters, both for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors, and bestari partners.
  5. Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyrights.
  6. Conduct journal policy reviews and submit them to authors/writers, editors, bestari partners, and readers.
  7. Create code of conduct guides for editors and reviewers.
  8. Publish journal regularly.
  9. Guarantee the availability of funding sources for the continuation of journal publication.
  10. Build a network of cooperation and marketing.
  11. Improve the quality of the journal.
  12. Prepare permits and other legal aspects.

Editor's duties and responsibilities:

  1. The editor provides comments on the author's writing so that readers can understand what the author wants to convey, through comments written on the manuscript and or discussion facilities on the journal's website.
  2. The editor provides comments on the author's writing according to the eyd language (enhanced spelling) or language according to the standardization of the journal.
  3. The editor seeks to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis.
  4. The editor promotes freedom of opinion objectively, The editor submits corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary, The editor ensures that the author's writing does not involve suggestions or anything that can harm the publisher and coordinates the author's writing with the editor-in-chief of the publisher if the article is slightly controversial.
  5. The editor receives, reviews, and follows up on complaints from all parties involved in publishing the journal.
  6. Editors support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics.
  7. The editor does not defend the opinion of the author or third party which may result in an objective decision.
  8. The editor encourages authors to make improvements to their written work so that it is worthy of publication.
  9. The editor does the layout of the manuscript to be published so that it matches the journal template.
  10. The editor assists the editor in chief in finalizing a collection of manuscripts before they are printed and published, especially in terms of language, format and layout.
