<p>Pertautan antara Pendidikan dan multikultural merupakan solusi atas realitas budaya yang beragam sebagai sebuah proses pengembangan seluruh potensi yang menghargai pluralitas dan heterogenitas. Multikultural esensinya adalah budaya dan pengakuan akan keragaman budaya serta respon menerima keragaman realitas budaya. Islam merupakan agama yang bukan dari budaya, akan tetapi memiliki konsep bagaimana umatnya berbudaya dan berakhlakul karimah. Kebudayaan Islam merupakan tata cara yang mengacu pada prinsip-prinsip Islam. <p>Al-Qur'an berfungsi sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia, jadi setiap artinya harus dipahami dengan sepenuh hati. Penulisan ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan, yang berarti mengumpulkan data atau karya tulis ilmiah dan menganalisis data tentang masalah yang dikaji. Ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Al-Qur'an dan pentingnya bagi manusia. Al-Qur'an, yang merupakan wahyu dan firman Allah yang diturunkan kepada manusia melalui Nabi Muhammad SAW, adalah kitab yang tidak dapat dibantah kebenarannya dan sangat kaya akan segala sesuatu. Kitab ini juga merupakan sumber Islam yang paling penting, dan merupakan pedoman hidup bagi setiap orang yang beragama Islam, serta bagi seluruh umat manusia. Al- Qur'an tidak hanya memberikan petunjuk tentang hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, tetapi juga mengatur hubungan manusia satu sama lain dan cara mereka berinteraksi satu sama lain. Urgensi Alquran tidak hanya berisi petunjuk tentang hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan, tetapi juga mengatur hubungan antara manusia dan bagaimana manusia berinteraksi dengan alam semesta. Memahami ajaran Islam (kafa) memerlukan pemahaman terhadap isi Al-Qur'an serta pengamalannya yang ikhlas dan konsisten dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Allah dan Rasul- Nya telah meyakinkan kita bahwa kita tidak akan tersesat selama mengikuti petunjuk Allah SWT. Oleh karena itu, manusia tetap teguh dan biarkan Al-Qur'an membimbing mereka. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan akibat pembuangan sampah di Sungai Denai, Kelurahan Harjosari I. Fenomena pembuangan sampah secara langsung ke sungai masih sering dijumpai, meskipun sudah banyak program kebersihan dan sosialisasi yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan masyarakat setempat, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesadaran masyarakat masih tergolong rendah, terlihat dari perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan dan kurangnya kepedulian terhadap dampak jangka panjang terhadap lingkungan. Meskipun sebagian warga menyadari bahwa pencemaran sungai dapat menyebabkan bau tidak sedap, banjir, dan gangguan kesehatan, namun kesadaran tersebut belum diiringi dengan tindakan nyata untuk menjaga kebersihan sungai. Faktor-faktor seperti kurangnya fasilitas pengelolaan sampah, rendahnya edukasi lingkungan, dan lemahnya pengawasan dari pihak berwenang menjadi penyebab utama rendahnya kesadaran tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya kolaboratif antara masyarakat, pemerintah, dan lembaga terkait dalam meningkatkan edukasi lingkungan serta penyediaan sarana prasarana yang mendukung perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.</p>Radya AmaliaNuriza Dora Silvia Tabah Hati

<p data-start="167" data-end="1761">The moral decline among students has emerged as a critical challenge in contemporary education. One potential strategy to address this issue is the internalization of character education values through contextual learning. The oral traditions of the Alas ethnic community, which embody values such as religiosity, honesty, responsibility, mutual cooperation, and social concern, hold significant potential for integration into Social Studies (IPS) learning. This study aims to describe the process of internalizing character education values through the oral traditions of the Alas community in Social Studies instruction, while also identifying its challenges and effectiveness. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at SMP Negeri 3 Lawe Alas, involving Social Studies teachers, the principal, student affairs personnel, students, and local cultural leaders. The findings reveal that oral traditions, including proverbial advice, traditional poetry, folk songs, <em data-start="1209" data-end="1228">syair tangis dilo</em>, and <em data-start="1234" data-end="1243">melagam</em>, contain diverse values such as religiosity, honesty, responsibility, cooperation, social empathy, discipline, politeness, respect, and patriotism. These values are internalized through storytelling, discussions, and practical activities, which foster students’ understanding and application of character values. Despite constraints related to limited time, learning media, and teachers’ comprehension of local traditions, this oral tradition–based learning approach proves effective in shaping students’ character.</p>Faadila Reva AlfaziraFatkhur Rohman Toni Nasution

<p>This study aims to analyze the role of students in preserving the belo mesusun dance as a form of local culture in Southeast Aceh, especially in SMP Negeri 3 Badar. This study uses a qualitative research type using a case study method. The data obtained using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation, values, strategies, and roles of students in preserving the belo mesusun dance at SMP Negeri 3 Badar. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of the belo mesusun dance at SMP Negeri 3 Badar has become a routine activity that is carried out every year, especially during the commemoration of Teacher's Day and the farewell event for class IX. (2) the belo mesusun dance is a cultural heritage that is rich in social values, such as friendship, harmony, togetherness, unity and mutual cooperation. (3) SMP Negeri 3 Badar has several effective strategies to preserve the belo mesusun dance. They make the dance an extracurricular activity so that students can learn and practice regularly and students also often appear at various events, both inside and outside the school. (4) students at SMP Negeri 3 Badar play an important role in preserving the belo mesusun dance, which is part of the local culture of Southeast Aceh. They routinely practice and perform at various school events, such as the farewell event for grade IX students and commemorating teacher's day, and then they invite their friends and family to get to know the culture. <p>Abstract: The development of the digital era has brought fundamental changes to the world of education, which have significant implications in terms of both challenges and opportunities. This study aims to determine the extent to which teachers can integrate technology, the challenges they face, and how adjustments are made to technology-based education curricula. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of school principals, teachers, and students, thus providing diverse perspectives. The results showed that some teachers were able to use digital media such as PowerPoint, e-learning platforms, and online applications, but limitations in equipment, low digital literacy, and lack of training were significant obstacles. On the other hand, opportunities were opened up through the use of artificial intelligence, global access to information, and cross-cultural collaboration through digital platforms. This article contributes to the digital education literature by providing a critical analysis of the challenges and opportunities of education in the digital age, as well as offering practical recommendations for teachers, students, and education policymakers to respond more effectively to the changing times.</p> <p>Keywords: Challenges, Opportunities, Digital Education, Digital Literacy, Educational Technology</p>Nur Aulia AlfitrahNuriza Dora Toni Nasution
